A Look at Uk Soccer

The FA Premier League Partnership, also known as UK soccer, was first founded in 1992 and is a league that is reserved for the top UK soccer clubs in the English system.  This distinction makes it England’s primary soccer competition.  Each year, 20 teams compete for the league championship but, oddly enough, only four teams have been crowned.  Why?  Because these four teams have dominated UK soccer since it’s inception.  These include Arsenal, Blackburn Rovers, Chelsea and Manchester United.  Of these four UK soccer clubs, Manchester United has been the most successful after having won the championship title on eight occasions.  The current league champions are Chelsea, who clinched their second consecutive title during the 2005-06 season.

The sport of UK soccer hasn’t always been as popular as it is today.  In fact, the 1980s marked a particularly low point for the sport.  Stadiums were crumbling, which left spectators facing poor facilities.  As attendance dropped and conditions worsened, UK soccer was banned from European competition.  By the time the 1990s rolled around, things were beginning to change and the ban formerly preventing English teams from competing was lifted.

At the conclusion of the 1991 season, a proposal for a new league was presented and was one that would bring additional revenue into the sport.  The Founder Members Agreement, which was signed in July 1991, established the basic foundation for the FA Premier League.  The new division was given a license to negotiate broadcast and sponsorship agreements, which was a necessary part of successful competition.  In 1992, the FA Premier League was formed as a limited company and operated out of an office at the former headquarters of the Football Association.

The 1992-93 season marked the first of many competitions for the new face of UK soccer.  Due to the rules governed by the FIFA, the number of teams was reduced to twenty in 1995.  Today, the FA Premier League is a corporation that is owned by the 20 member clubs of UK soccer.  Each team is considered to be a shareholder and has the opportunity to vote on important issues, including rule changes and contracts.  Each team has the power to elect a Chairman, Chief Executive and Board of Directors to oversee their day-to-day activities.  The Football Association is not directly involved with these operations, but it does have veto power during team elections.

Today, a typical UK soccer season consists of 20 teams competing against one another on two separate occasions.  One half of the season is dedicated to home games and the second half, which repeats the same schedule as the first, entails each team playing their competitors for a second time at a different location.  For instance, the first half of a season may be comprised of home games and the second half would be played on the competitors home turf.  At the conclusion of each season, the champions are named according to points awarded throughout the season.  If a tie occurs, a one match playoff is held to determine which top four teams will qualify for the UEFA Champions League.

For additional information on the FA Premier League and/or UK soccer, fans may visit their official website at http://www.premierleague.com . Current standings, news, updates, photos, historical profiles and league news is available online.  A professional design with colorful appeal make this a very popular website among UK soccer fans.  Soccer, itself, remains a popular sport throughout the world and is celebrated in many different countries.  With legions of fans worldwide, it appears that soccer players will be kicking high for many years to come.

Soccer Kicks Back

April 7, 2007

Author: Chris Campbell

Soccer has to be one of the original sports games every played by people.  I can just imagine cave dwellers kicking around the old soccer ball.  Or maybe it was a soccer rock? A soccer coconut perhaps?  It’s got to be one of the simplest form of sports play imaginable.  I mean, really, I kick the ball this way and you try to kick the ball that way.  Whether the ball (coconut?) goes more this way or more that way determines the winner.  While it may be easy for me to imagine soccer being kicked around by a bunch of caveman sports enthusiasts, the earliest official record of soccer by played was in China about 3000 years ago.  Wow, that’s like 750 World Cups, if anyone was keeping track.

Ultimate Soccer Header

Soccer is also kind of bizarre, in that it’s one of the few sports I can think of where you use your head for more than just strategizing.  You actually can use your head to make contact with the ball.  Imagine trying that in football (American) or hockey for that matter.  Nothing link deflecting a slap shot with the forehead for a game winning goal.  Stitches don’t hurt that much.  Those soccer guys are kinda funny that way.  But the ultimate head shot in soccer was  a little more bizarre.  Gruesome actually.  Apparently in more medieval times, the head of a defeated Dannish prince was used as the ball by early day soccer hooligans in the east of England.  Yuck.  Think I’d be shopping for some new soccer shoes after that match.  It’s a wonder soccer ever caught on with the Danes after a defeat like that one.

Soccer Wars

As with many games these days, soccer had it’s origins on the battlefield.  Rival towns would play soccer against each other, with little or no rules, and massive sized teams.  Violent, bloody games, with hundreds of people kicking, punching, tripping in an attempt to win the soccer match.  Sounds kind of like today, except today, that sounds like a more apt description of the fans instead of the players.  You think it’s tough being a soccer referee today, imagine a few hundred years ago.  At least today, they keep the fans and referees separated.  As time went on, and the local authorities realized that banning soccer wasn’t going to work, more civilized soccer fans brought rules and order to the game of soccer.  Not everyone agreed, and there were some splinter groups that went off and formed derivatives of the game.  Rugby was one.

Soccer As Civilized Play

So today we have the modern game of soccer that we even allow our children to play.  A far reach from the early beginnings of the sport.  Perhaps an analogy can be drawn between soccer and many new forms of expression.  In the beginning, things can be a bloody mess, but a few thousand years of civility and anything can be reduced to child’s play.

Free Soccer Prediction

-Introduction to Soccer betting Why should we use Paid services for sport betting tip ? As we all know , now a days , many peoples do gambling. One of the most prevalent gamblings is : Soccer Betting.
When you start to betting on soccer fixtures , it’s possible that you will be lucky and win some money at the begining. But after many bets , loosing will begin. All the time you will lose more than amount you will win.
For example: One of the most prevalent markets in soccer betting is Asian Handicap. In Asian Handicap most of the time you will bet on Odds lower than @2.00
For example:  when odds=1.75 you will loose 100$ or you will win 75$ Then you should have a strike rate bigger than 65% so you will make a profit. If you have a strike rate less than 60% then you will lose.
 For example:  Average odds you bet on = 1.75 number of settled bets= 100 number of wins= 58 number of lose= 42 Strike rate= 58% then the profit = ( 58 x (1-1.75) ) – 40 = +3.5
So you made only 3.5 points profit after 100 bet and it’s very very little.
There are many paid soccer tip services. Some of them are cheaters and they just want your money. But there are little group of real tipsters. Most of them are proffesional handicapers and expert soccer analysers. These services will help you to win and they showed good results in the past. They could help you to have a Strike Rate bigger than 65% in 10 to 20 Bets. And that’s a perfect result.
-Why should we use a Soccer betting tip service ? If you ask yourself “These peoples can make huge amount of money with gambling , so why they are selling tips and picks ?” The answer is very simple : When you , yourself want to make a bet with your own money , then you can not make the best or the correct decision. So you will lose your Concentration , and ability of making a good decision. So in most of cases you will pick a loser inplace of a winner. But if you are a professional gambler or an expert soccer analyser , and if you do not bet on your own money , then you can find a good pick with the most chance of win. So that’s why these service will work for you and can help you to win.
-Which Soccer betting tip , Pick , Prediction service should we choose ? Please beware paid tips sites below :
 - Show picks after match finished or show picks when score is leader only and show picks nearly match end must beware. Don’t believe in Testimonials comments, They can make up and 99% fake.
 - Don’t show how many paid tips in the day , They will show winning tips only but if lost they will not show it . *** very important.  – If you interest to join which site please continuously visit them for 1 month at least, don’t hurry because paid sites are 90% cheat on the net.  Warning !!! How do you know which paid site is cheating or not ? Stay away from paid site which show picks after match finished 100% Fake.
 - Ask them for paid tips after match started (1 month at least) if they don’t reply for 2-3 times .. Yes, 100% Fake records and they are cheating site.
 - Stay away from paid site which show picks later than half-time, They are waiting for high percentage of winning or show it nearly match end *****

Simple Theory for Soccer Betting

April 7, 2007

Author: Joseph Linhard

Why is soccer betting popular?

If we were to compare other sports with soccer, soccer has the highest occurrences for weak team to beat a strong team down especially in English Premier League. Let’s turn back the clock; can any of you recall the UEFA Championship final?? Clashed between Man.Utd and Bayern Munich in 1999 where Man.Utd successfully won Bayern Munich by 2 goals during 2 minutes injury time. For those who bet on Bayern Munich, how hard for punters to accept this, unfortunately this is the FACT. Well, as you can see, this is the most interesting part in soccer betting. There is a saying, “a football is round, therefore it might have unpredictable ending”.

What is the simple theory in betting world?

Everything in the world is sharing the same natural concept and also follows the same trend. There is no exception for soccer betting. The theory is simple. When a graph makes an incline, of course the line will keep climbing and stop at a stage. No matter how high it reaches or how low it drops, there is always a stop to it. I would confidently say that only in minor cases, the graph will move up and down continuously within a short period of time. As example, you could notice that most market share will always have gradual incline and then follow by long dropping line repeatedly. You could also notice that the rich gets richer and poor gets poorer. In sports betting, I believe some of you did experience before winning streaks which you kept winning non-stop even though you simply put your bet. In contrast when encounter down period, even if you work hard to make analysis or follow the bet of your lucky friends but finally lose too. Why? The only answer is natural concept and trend. We must agree and follow the trend.

How betting trend works in soccer betting?

The rule of thumb is do not be stubborn to confidently place bets on teams that continuously lost and have the thinking that they would make a come back. This is totally wrong. Maybe you will win at the end by follow this type of betting strategy but how much capital you need to have and how much you need to lose before you can win the bet. Based on the trend concept, if a team is keep losing, the graph for them is dropping, we should bet against them until the graph reach a pit stop. In contrast, if a team turnover from lose to win, we should start chase the team to win until stop stage. How simple is it? Win keeps winning and lose keeps losing.

Which team to bet from among of uncountable matches?

When using the trend concept in soccer betting, it is safer if we use it to bet on strong team and only focus on climbing graph. Meanwhile, we put our bet only on strong team when they are in win stage. The reason to choose strong team is they need points to secure their position at the top of the league table. In addition, strong team with higher strength could easily win if victory is a must.

The last but not the least, I am sure you will have doubts on my simple theory – trend. I could tell you that my theory has been proven. I have been using the betting strategy for 2 consecutive years and it really works for me. From my bet statistics, it hits more than 75% accuracy.

Soccer – The World’s Most Popular Sport

April 7, 2007

Author: Gloria Diaz

Soccer is perhaps the world’s favorite spectator sport, popularly known as “Football” in Britain and other European countries. This game can be as frustrating as golf, as physical as football and hockey, as erratic as baseball, and as exciting as basketball. No simple word can describe the popularity of the game, with a global television audience of 49 billion people for the 2002 World Cup alone. The game is exciting and highly addictive to watch and play.  Professional game rules require 11 players per team, 10 playing the field and one goalkeeper. With the use of a round ball, the matched is player with the two teams wearing shirts of different colors with distinctive soccer patches. The game is divided into two sets, each for 45 minutes long with the referee adding “extra time” based on time being wasted or play being stopped during the original 45 minutes. Usually, the extra time will be about one-to-three minutes.   A maximum of three substitutes may be used in any match played in an official competition organized under the auspices of the World Governing body Federation International Football Association (FIFA), the confederations or the national associations. However, in other competitions the rules must state how many substitutes may be nominated, from three up to a maximum of seven.  The decision regarding a match ending with a tie score usually depends on the actual type of game being player. There are times when the just simply ends in a tie score after the regular 90 minutes game plus any added time. On the other hand, a game ending with a tie score may lead into an overtime with an allotted time of extra play leading to penalty kicks, this usually occurs during a deciding game of a tournament. Each team is given five attempts to score on the opposing goalkeeper, the team with the highest score wins the game.  During a game, players are only allowed to wear soccer equipment and are prohibited to wear anything that may harm him as well as the other. This includes any kind of jewelry and other accessories. The basic soccer equipment of a player include a jersey or shirt with their distinctive soccer patches; shorts, if thermal under shorts are worn, it has to be the same main color as the shorts; stockings; and footwear, soccer shoes, boots, cleats.   There are instances that players may use extra equipments such as shin guards and headgears. The shin guards protect the leg below the knee and are completely covered by the stockings. These are either made of rubber, plastic, or similar substances. While the head gear are available to protect younger players when heading the ball.   For goalkeepers, they must wear a color that separates him from the other goalkeeper, players, the referee and the assistant referees.   There are four important details that one should know about the game before he is ready to play soccer. The first is that only the goalkeeper is allowed to use his hands, and this is only within the confines of the marked-off area surrounding the goal. When a player uses their hands on a ball, the opposing team gets a free kick from the spot of the violation.  The second vital information that you should remember about the game is that players are generally penalized for rough or unfair play with the use of cards. A yellow card is considered a stern warning, while a red card signifies a serious violation. Once a player receives a red card it means that he had been ejected from the game and cannot be replaced and that leaves the player’s team with less players. Meanwhile receiving two yellow cards will equal to a red card, meaning the player will receive the same penalty.

The All Time Greatest Soccer Player

April 7, 2007

Author: James Hunt

The sport of soccer, known as football to most of the world, has produced some great soccer players over the past years.  Perhaps the most famous of all is Pelé, who amazed the world with his incredible ability to maneuver the ball in a way it hadn’t been done before. Pelé retired more than twenty five years ago but he is still a household name on the lips of soccer players and fans around the world.  His story of rising from poverty in Brazil to soccer superstar is a source of inspiration for young soccer players everywhere.

Another soccer great is Pavel Nedved.  Pavel is well known both in his homeland of the Czech Republic and around the world as one of the youngest soccer players of all time to make a lasting impression.  Pavel played for Sparta in the 1990’s and scored many goals for the team from 1992 to 1995.

The world has seen many players who have been the focus of extreme soccer skills, but none so well known as Zinedine Zidane.  Zidane was born in Algeria in 1972 and after struggling in school for several years he decided that soccer was his main interest.  He was spotted at the age of sixteen by a soccer scout and very quickly found himself in Cannes.  Shortly after that Zidane was playing for the French Division, scoring goal after goal and becoming the star of the team.

Today one of the most popular soccer players is David Beckham, who is the star of Great Britain when it comes to the game.  At sixteen Beckham was playing for Manchester United team and was already attracting the attention of soccer scouts around the world.  Beckham’s incredible talent found him on England’s World Cup Team in 1997.  His handsome looks and boyish attitude make him one of Britain’s favorite celebrities.

The world of soccer continues to give us up and coming stars, but none can ever rival the status that the above players have earned.
